+ Can’t find the HCOC albums in your church’s bookstore?
+ Don’t want to pay a lot of money on shipping?
+ Want to carry the HCOC albums easily on your iPod and mp3 devices?

By popular demand, the HCOC CD’s can now be bought online through our digital distributers: cdbaby.com, iTunes, and Amazon mp3.*

The following are now available on these digital distributers:
The Rite and Hymns of the Annual Sunday Midnight Praise
The Rite and Hymns of the Annual Sunday Vespers Praise
The Rite and Hymns of the Liturgy of the Word
The Rite and Hymns of the Liturgy of Saint Basil

*Note that each of the distributors have different prices for the albums. On cdbaby.com, you can buy the whole album for the same price as the hardcopies of the albums, whereas on iTunes and Amazon, you can buy individual tracks or the whole album, but the prices are set by the distributors.

The prices on iTunes are outrageous! You guys can't seriously think you are going to sell your albums for more than double the price as what you are selling the actual disks for! Is this supposed to be a joke? Why would apple possibly choose to charge $70 for your album when the majority of BRAND NEW albums are sold for less than $20?! That doesn't make sense.

jydeacon, you didn't read the note towards the end of Biboboys post... I'm sure it will make a lot more sense..

No, I read it. It still doesn't make sense. Why would iTunes possibly choose to sell the entire album for $70? I have never seen any album that expensive. I won't get into the costs and profit on this website but i'm sure we can all agree that $70 for any album is unreasonable. I am now more curious as to how iTunes decides how they price things.

jydeacon, if you had a look at cdbaby.com - HCOC, you will see that the prices there for the album is what it is intended to be... the Midnight praise CD for example is $30, the same price they've always been selling it.

On iTunes, I believe the HCOC want to give customers the option to buy tracks individually, hence why each track is the same price and thus because of this iTunes has it much more expensive... Common sense tells you to buy the full album on cdbaby.com rather than iTunes...

Hope that made sense to you.
