Hello everyone,

I need a favour: I have a friend who is wonderful person and knows a lot about Christianity and is an amazing Christian.

He is, however, a Baptist and he claims that there are only minor differences between Orthodoxy and the Baptist Church. I doubt this is true.

I don't know much about this topic but I'm sure a lot of you do; therefore, I want sources on this topic that I can tell him to read.

Baptists are conservative morally (that's where they're like us). But they're mainstream Protestants - no sacraments, sola scriptura, etc...

I'll compile a list of books you can give him to read - you can start by giving him Pope Shenouda's "Comparative Theology" and "The Priesthood." You can find these online, maybe do a Google search for Pope Shenouda and each of those titles.
