Your first paragraph: nothing new, I already said Orthodox can go to hell, and that implies everyone else can go to hell.

Your second paragraph: yes, it's clear that he's talking about the antichrist - so what?

Your third paragraph: again, nothing new, see my note to your first paragraph.

Your fourth paragraph: your witness for what?

Your fifth paragraph: I bring this up with Protestants I talk to all the time. But now you tell me, was Korah not Jewish? Smile

Your sixth paragraph: so Protestants are wrong? Yes they are.

____

Note that your 1st and 3rd paragraphs apply to Orthodox just like anyone else you want to apply them to. If you're going to use that as evidence that Protestants are not Christian, then you need to use them to say Orthodox are not Christian - which is dumb.

This discussion is largely useless because the word "Christian" itself is just a word that is trying to refer to something. If you're so upset about it, don't use it, but you can't expect the world to change how it speaks because you don't want to apply that word to certain people.

Not sure if we are understanding each other again. I am not JUST applying this to protestants, this clearly can apply to Orthodox people as well. I dont recall saying that. That would imply all you have to do is be baptized Orthodox and then thats it, which is similar to the heresy of salvation in a moment. So we agree on that part. I use witnesses to validate my argument, just as St John Chrysostom and many other saints have.

The main point of the argument that protestants are not Christian and protestantism in itself is not of God, is to show people that we cannot validate their claims, what would make them want to become Orthodox which is much harder if they can attain salvation as a protestant? I debated a priest who claimed protestants are indeed Christian, but lack the full revelation of Christ. That is anti scriptural, as I posted in my last post.

I dont know why you keep putting words into my mouth, when did I say that I only want the word "Christian" to apply to certain people? Anyone can call themselves anything, I personally dont care. I am merely pointing out that they are incorrect in using this label. I feel as if I have brought forth many witnesses on my behalf, as you clearly have seen if you have read my posts, and need to argue this no further unless you can disprove this.

Do you have any witness? You have used your own reason and logic to try and disprove the argument. This is the flaw in your argument, you are using too much reason and no scripture and have not once mentioned an early church father. Even a protestant would have given me a multitude of scriptures, you have provided none. So again, I have shown you what St Paul, St John Chrysostom, and Christ Himself has said, who are we to disagree with them?

"The main point of the argument that protestants are not Christian and protestantism in itself is not of God, is to show people that we cannot validate their claims, what would make them want to become Orthodox which is much harder if they can attain salvation as a protestant?"

I've already replied to this a long time ago.

What's funny is that you follow that with this:

"I dont know why you keep putting words into my mouth, when did I say that I only want the word "Christian" to apply to certain people? Anyone can call themselves anything, I personally dont care. I am merely pointing out that they are incorrect in using this label."

You went from saying it'll help their salvation if you don't call them Christian to saying you don't care if they're using that label.

It's not that we're misunderstanding each other, it's that you're misunderstanding yourself Smile.

_______

WITNESS FOR WHAT? Go find me a part in the Bible that says, "the word Christian is hereby and forever more defined as ..." Then you'll have your witness.

I am telling you that I dont care what label they use for themselve,. Protestant, Pente, Christian, whatever. What I am saying is that we cannot validate their claim that they ARE Christians, that they ARE the same as Orthodox. The reason being is this: we then tell them that what they are doing is correct, we are telling our own people that what they are doing is correct, when it is not.

I could care less what label they use, I am speaking of validating their beliefs not the actual label itself. We wouldnt say, dont use the word Christian. We should say your beliefs are not Orthodox, they are incorrect. Again, you clearly do not understand what I am saying, and it almost seems your doing it purposely. You clearly interpret what I am saying as something else. Look back in my other posts and you will clearly see the saints that speak for me.

Why in the heck are you focusing on the word Christian so much? When my argument is against validating their beliefs.

What is the point to this discussion? Whatever it is, its irrelevant. I doubt anyone is benefiting from this topic whatsoever (if I am wrong, then please...someone feel free to post). Copts are not trying to unite with protestantism at all, just as truth-seeker pointed out earlier. I suggest you listen to Father Peter's advice which he stated on tasbeha.org Wink

I hope you do not take this as an attack. The point I'm trying to make is, its not our job to say who will be saved and who will not be saved. Let God be the judge as to whether who He believes is His son or daughter. In the meantime, lets try and benefit from the season of lent which is upon us!

God bless
Tony

Anytime this topic is discussed this very same thing gets brought up, "you cannot say who is going to heaven or hell." I am not saying who is and isnt going to hell, but there is a right way to worship God and a wrong way. Truthseeker seems to completely ignore everything I say, and if he does read something he seems to take it out of context. Copts are indeed attempting to unite with protestants by being part of the WCC, which as their website clearly states, seeks to create a universal church by finding common belief.

With truthseeker it seems to be an "I am right, your wrong" type of argument where he only seeks to "win" as opposed to actually listen to what is being said. Again read my other posts in which I bring fourth witnesses, St. John Chrysostom, St. Paul, and Christ! If you are arguing a case in court, wouldnt a witness or two help? So far you have failed miserably in making your argument.

I am not sure if you both dont understand what I am trying to say or what is going on. I feel I have been very clear on this subject. If you think the WCC is strictly for dialogue, well then you should do some more homework, dialogue is another way to say unity, that is clearly their goal.

Oh and truthseeker please do not talk down to me.

1) You better hope that I think I am right, otherwise you would have been arguing with someone who thinks that he is wrong and still arguing.

2) You are the one who is just trying to "win" because you have contradicted yourself several times and you still maintain that you are correct. It's one thing to maintain you are correct when you are disagreeing with someone else. It's another thing to maintain that you are correct when you keep disagreeing with yourself.

3) You bring forth witnesses for what? What is it that you said that your witnesses back up?

4) The goal of the WCC IS unity - I do not disagree with you there and we have been over this already. I am telling you as long as we stay Orthodox, that's just fine.

5) Truth.Seeker hereby declares that he is seeking unity with the whole world, even non-Christians - so long as we all unite under Orthodoxy. Get my point?

I have been involved in other matters which have kept me from following the recent posts on this blessed site. During my absence, several discussions which especially interest me have occurred. I believe this dialogue between eluzai and Truth.Seeker concerns vital issues in the Coptic Church today. Eluzai indicated that he was working on or thinking about more analysis of the seemingly real, actual demonic influences that Protestantism and Roman Catholicism ( and “greek” orthodoxy) are having on the teachings and pastoral practices of the Coptic Church’s present leadership. I hope that Truth.Seeker’s seemingly unwarranted insulting and ad hominem responses didn’t discourage eluzai from pursuing and sharing his important further insights and issues. Eluzai indicates that he has personally experienced and has parsed the Protestantism of his own family members. His insights have enlightened me. I was a seriously practicing American Irish Catholic for 50 years and find his references to R. Catholicism to be reasonably valid.
I would like an explanation for Truth.Seeker’s vehement ridicule of the proposal that financial globalization is a prophetic element of Satan’s preparation for his final appearance and reign. World financial unification is a reasonable mechanism for the beast’s persuasive financial oppression and control that is referred to at Rev. 13:16-17. This seems to fit well with the Coptic (and universal Christian Church) leadership’s unapologetic general obeisance to varying degrees of wealth, glitz and affluence. This predisposition of church leaders to subservience to wealth could be a major factor in the eventual seduction of most of the Christian (?) churches to worship of Antichrist, Antitheotokos and Satan.
So, I find that eluzai’s too “coptic,” humble, apologetic retreat from Truth.Seeker’s uncalled for verbal “backhand” and bullying, after eluzai’s retreat, tends to devalue eluzai’s realistic, valid concerns for the Coptic Church’s leadership’s current flirtations with “modern,” liberal, already failed “protestant/catholic/’greek’ orthodox”-like experiments with liberalism/ecumenicism, (which includes Coptic atheistic/anti-biblical/anti-patriarchal “christian” psychological sermons/counselling/manipulations/teaching methods; and polite acquiescence to always present, uncovered, bold, loud, rebellious feminist censors/ ”protestors” at all Coptic bible study, marriage and family relationship activities). Sadly, Coptic examples of the always accompanying, seemingly inevitable, “catholic/ protestant/’greek’ orthodox”-like perverted sexual proclivities and abuses (and God hated divorce) are already prominently occurring to embarass and warn the lax Coptic leadership.
I hope eluzai will complete and share his analysis of the grave dangers to the Coptic Church of continuing to theologically and pastorally pursue these steadily advancing, seemingly proven to be irreversible “catholic/protestant/’greek’ orthodox”-like modern heterodoxies, and thereby help to enlighten and encourage those Orthodox Copts who seek to be prepared to survive all of the deceptions and oppressions of Satan’s final appearance.

Let's look at Revelations 13:16-17

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

This can be achieved in the feudal system as much as in a highly integrated global economy. Notice that the beast isn't going to attack financial institutions. He's going to put a mark on people.

It is nonsense interpretations that bring about ridicule. If someone doesn't want to get ridiculed, all he has to do is not say nonsense.

I will agree that the beast is probably not going to attack his own financial institutions. Especially not the one which controls the eventual global financial systems. We have all recently seen the weaker world financial institutions which are attacked and devoured by their big brother banks by using the U.S. citizen and Congressional approved present and future debt obligations and war blood of our children and their children, etc.. Doesn't seem to be out of context with Rev. 13. Makes sense to me.

I look forward to benefiting from more spiritual insights and analyses that eluzai may make of the knowledge we should have and the precautions we should exercise before we compromise or acquiesce to agreement and/or approval of the claimed/imagined apostate beliefs of Protestants and Roman Catholics (who have abandoned/invented orthodox roots/criticisms for their own reasons). The American "greek" orthodox have also silently, approvingly innovated dangerous heterodox accomodations to "save face" (such as feminism, divorce, psychological -in lieu of biblical-family counselling and promised women priesthood) which appeal to the major openly rebellious faction in the Coptic Church. I doubt that many lay Copts, except the sharp eared, self-serving Coptic feminists, have heard Pope Shenouda’s (unwritten and/or vaguely written) support of the crux of these same apostate heterodoxies.

I’m praying for you, eluzai. God gives us different experiences to help us stay, alone, on the narrow way when our leaders stray.

Your post makes such little sense that this is in order:

From St. Basil the Great:
"The very obviousness of the absurdity makes it difficult for us to find arguments to confute their unreasonableness; so that really their folly looks like an advantage to them; just as soft and yielding bodies offer no resistance, and therefore cannot be struck a stout blow."

From irishpilgrim:
Doesn't seem to be out of context with Rev. 13. Makes sense to me.

You went from Rev. 13:16-17 to Rev. 13 generally. Saying something makes sense to you is not an argument. Every single war in the history of the world wouldn't "seem to be out of context with Rev. 13". What does globalization have to do with it?

From irishpilgrim:

And these heteredox accomodations are ... ? I can claim watermelons can fly if the standard is just making the statement, not proving it.

Please excuse my delay in getting this complex response put together, in some (far from perfect) order. With the help of your patient comments, I can hopefully smooth out the rough spots and sharpen my references, insights and descriptions. Considerable time was required to provide relevant references where they are available, and to organize my personal experiences and observations. Sadly, the secretive, occult nature of demonic apostasies live in many layers of deceptive cover-ups and illusions. Eventually the schemers may become proud, lax, confident, forgetful, impatient, etc. and the diligent victims can have some confirmation of the suspected mirage. When I started following these forums, I had only been alarmed by the proliferation of divorce damages done to defenseless young Coptic families by the promotion of heterodox demonic feminism and atheistic psychological family counselling by the U.S. Coptic Bishops. I gradually, from seeking out discussions with every available Coptic Bishop, realized that this arrogant apostasy probably corruptly engulfs or intimidates all of the Coptic Synod administration and, at least, all of the Western Coptic emigration. Much like the Irish Faith, the faux wealth, corruption and immorality of the Irish-American immigrants returned to fatally poison the home church. This limited research has not yet convinced me that the Coptic Church is yet hopelessly, irrecoverably entangled with feminism and with atheistic psycho/socio beliefs and practices. With God’s help, patriarchal Coptic male monastics and patriarchal male and female Coptic believers from rural Egypt could supply the foundational spiritual and family strength to enable a recovery of the patriarchal Coptic Orthodox Church. The recovered patriarchal church should then eventually be able to provide the circumstances for patriarchal women monastics to thrive and biblically support the church. I, not God, have no hope for the recovery of the R. Catholic and her daughter Protestant Churches, except for a few despised “odd ball” remnants As you can see, below, it seems that the Western EO churches are so far capitulated to feminism, divorce, psychology and women priests, that I visualize them as hanging on to a greasy rock cliff by their baby soft finger tips, with hordes of raging obese EO, R. Catholic and WCC feminists jumping on their back. Their home churches seem to be largely corrupt at the top and the traditionally patriarchal faithful seem to be spread very thin, and compromised by those who are attracted to every new idea.

It seems that there must be complete open honesty on both sides of a meaningful confession of sins/spiritual counsel. How can a father of confession/spiritual teacher be spiritually effective while under oppressive and/or seductive obedience/loyalty to the heterodox feminist/ psychological agenda of his wife, bishop, pope and/or synod, especially concerning crucial family conflict issues? Will the Holy Spirit join their fraud and make the spiritual counsel based on heterodox/ psychological principles into God approved maxims? I doubt it. That is not the traditional patriarchy of a straight, narrow loving Father, who has given us the same rules for everyone. God help us.

It may appear herein that I am being disrespectful of Pope Shenouda and the Coptic heirarchy, clergy and church to whom I hope to be eternally thankful for eventually providing us with an uncompromised, patriarchal Orthodox spiritual home and family theology. My alienated divorced family and I know too well, the persistence, power and deceptions of the demons which direct, conduct and justify the abominable sins of apostate “Christian” feminism, divorce, atheism based family counselling and the promise of women priesthood. It is the appearance and adoption of new advances of these heterodoxies, which have already seduced nearly the entire “Christian” Church, that I feel that I should attempt to oppose with all of my limited ability. I endured their attacks on my family, by the R. Catholic Church, in ignorance and relative silence and have resolved to observe and study new manifestations of these demonic apostasies and to not watch in silence while they torment other Christian families. My inadequate prayer for this relief is contained in my signature thought below.

Truth.Seeker, I admire your formatting and organization skills. You have motivated me to put some work into this craft. Maybe, next time!! But, I must be careful to not use self-serving selective excerpts, similar to Heterodox/Protestant-like biblical exegesis, to obstruct in-depth honest, respectful mutually beneficial dialogue, from which we can all struggle to reach the truth of God.

I don’t know the context of the excerpt that you attribute to St. Basil. I hope you are not angry and I hope you have good days with God’s blessings, in peace. I’ll do my best to reduce the seeming absurdity/folly. If I fail, I’ll try again, or reform with thanksgiving.

If you have interest in a study of Revelations/ Daniel/End Times in a current context, I recommend you look at Abouna Athanasius Iskander’s study, “The Abomination of Desolution.” It can be downloaded in PDF at http://www.stmaryscopticorthodox.ca/pub ... ooks.html. Abouna’s study gave me understandings that I had not been able to achieve in dozens of earlier readings, classes and lectures.

My belief is that when Satan appears, in the future, he will have already deceptively established all of the most advanced global technology/institutions of that time (and more) to serve his purpose and to try to deceive/subjugate all of us, in familiar surroundings (like in our own church), to believe in and worship him. This preparation is part of Antichrist’s/ Antitheotokos’(?) mission. Accordingly, globalization (political, financial, consensus unified religions [WCC], communications, RFID, GPS, etc.) seems to be reasonable preparations for Antichrist’s and Satan’s final appearance, if it occurs in these times. Of course, Rev. 13:16-17 is within the relevant context of Rev. 13. Yes, many of Satan’s fruits can be seen in the true history of every war and these seem to have some implications of the horrors of Satan’s return.

By the way, Abouna Athanasius also has recorded a remarkable lecture on the Creation in the context of current scientific knowledge. Very enlightening, but beyond my “science” studies background! He rationally broadened my insight.

I perceive that eluzai may have a special insight into the history and theology of Protestantism. He is inspired to discuss it. At times I have grown to admire protestant personalties’ messages, but eventually they reveal a bias or contradiction that releases or compartmentalizes my interest.

However, in some areas of new challenges to our orthodox christian faith, the first and clearest opposition are the insight and words of resolute protestant disciples, who generally know, believe, depend upon and navigate the scriptures more skillfully, on certain levels, than most disciples of most apostolic jurisdictions. As I will be required to show in this response, this is the case regarding opposition to the relatively recent intrusions of heterodox feminism, divorce, psychology and women’s priesthood into the apostolic jurisdictions. These deviations prevailed first in protestant denominations and now we find respected deviants in most seemingly apostolic orthodox jurisdictions. The solution doesn’t seem to be: We’ll just start another “christian”/”orthodox” church. How is this solution even Christian? It is interesting that some protestant preachers have concluded that the entire christian church is in apostasy and that this is the time when all believers should come out of these churches. I haven’t considered and studied this option, yet.

The apostate “protestant and R. Catholic-like” heterodox beliefs and practices, that have become openly accepted by the American “greek” orthodox-hereinafter, EO- clergy and laity are those that I mentioned: feminism, divorce, psychological-in lieu of biblical-family counselling, and “promised” women priesthood. These all seem to be under the authority of a separate ‘archdemonicate’. Their seduction process never seems to change, only the targeted individual or denomination. It seems to me that the Protestants and R. Catholics are securely ensnared and that the “western” EO have chosen to enter this “net” by progressively accommodating and comforting these heterodoxies. Pope Shenouda and the Coptic clergy have already abandoned the restraints and feminist unpopularity of God’s biblical patriarchy and now seem to be determined to take this wide, happy road of “feel good” heterodoxies. Pray that God will give us, somewhere, biblical openly patriarchal orthodox clergy and teachers. Righteousness seeking women also suffer from this deficiency. Their righteousness and family’s integrity are mocked as slavery (which St. Peter anticipated, 1Pet. 2:18-3:1).

The majority American Protestants made the initial accommodations to legitimize these apostasies in our laws by the 1960s. The universal R. Catholic heirarchy opened the windows to let this fresh “breeze” renew its theology, rituals and morals. And, by the 1980s most of its “new” generation of “promising” (and promoted) priests had been educated, or re-educated, with graduate degrees in psychology/sociology related “pseudosciences”. “Friend of the pastor” professional catholic “counsellors” lurked around every large parish and pan-parish activity to get first crack at paid counselling or conferences for troubled marriages and families. Two vulturish Catholic lawyers in each parish got first crack at each resulting divorce. Some parish priests offered personal psychological counselling, which could include “permission” to divorce and pre-annulment/remarriage planning. “Friend of the bishop” paid professional counsellors studied, tested, analyzed and recommended all priest selection and formation activities, and educational programs. Their new Pope’s background was in the synthesis of atheistic Eastern European “sciences” and philosophies, which depended heavily on government controlled/sponsored arbitrary psychological manipulations, experiments and services. Simultaneously, the catholic feminists (including many bold nuns) generally raged in open revolt. Many also adopted the convenient comfort of lesbianism. The beginning of this completely successful catholic feminists’ revolt is thoroughly documented by a fine, faithful Irish-American lass, Donna (Corcoran-Merrigan) Steichen, in her epic documentary book, “Ungodly Rage: The Hidden Face of Catholic Feminism.” (I believe that this book precisely describes the now partially hidden face and intentions of Coptic feminism today.) The feminist “camel’s” nose is already under our “tent”. Sweet dreams!

The fruits of this shift, by the R. Catholic Church, from an established traditional patriarchial biblical gender and family paradigm to its modern dependence on nebulous feminist/ psychological experiments and maxims are gross increases in general immoralities that the Coptic Church heirarchy should not secretly impose on its members without those members’ fully informed knowledge and consent. These immoral fruits include the following: Many Catholic seminaries and convents became dens of homosexual perversions, which in turn has produced the costly, international Catholic pedophile priest scandal. The horror that it produced during this period, for Catholic born children, is an increase in the Catholic divorce rate by over 2 1/3 times. The Catholic divorce rate now equals the national norm; approx. 50% of marriages end in divorce. The national abortion medical industry volume increased to 8-13 million (surgical, chemical and mechanical) in utero deaths per year (over 1/3 of these are produced by Catholic women, another 1/3 by Protestant women). Other statistics of increased immorality are their 214% increase in teen suicide rate; 279% increase in cohabitation; 214% increase in single-parent families; 295% increase in juvenile violent crime; 457% increase in illegitimate birthrate; and 245% increase in the incidence of sexually transmitted disease. See, <http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/abbott/041206>. “Women attending colleges and universities affiliated with the Catholic Church are almost four times as likely to have participated in ‘hooking up’ compared to women at secular schools,” etc. <http://winteryknight.wordpress.com/2010/03/16/new-studies-on-promiscuity-of-catholic-women-and-cohabitation/>.

The Coptic/EO heirarchy should not be recklessly flirting with the same rational precedents to this immoral morass. The Coptic/EO heirarchy have a sacramental duty to honestly protect and propagate the traditional patriarchal Orthodox faith, sacraments, rites and morals of their clergy and people, rather than arrogantly corrupting themselves, the Orthodox Church and their spiritual dependents. They thereby disenfranchise the Orthodox Church itself, and make it, in reality, the Shenouda/Women/Freud Church, Ware Church, etc.? Similar to the Lutheran Church, Methodist Church, Congregational Church named for their founder, philosophy, etc..

It appears that the EO are determined not to be outdone in the practice of these heterodoxies. EO feminists are demanding an end to the traditional orthodox teachings and practices of God’s biblical patriarchy. They have already pushed the men off of the chanter’s stand, they share the pulpit, have taken over bible study on EO Ancient Faith Radio, and are now demanding to serve at the altar as “altar girls,” just like their Catholic sisters. See, <http://www.stnina.org/online-journal/feature-articles/altar-girls>, their slick on-line “mouthpieces”, The St. Nina Quarterly and Women's Orthodox Ministries and Education Network (WOMEN). See, also, in the same issue, their open anti-biblical” demand to the ROCOR Hierarchy by the listed roll call of militant prominent EO feminists.

Pope Shenouda and the American Coptic bishops have delayed this public revolt by requiring women to be installed on each parish board of deacons and forming a women’s club in which the feminists can organize, in each parish. Equality, their idol, requires the establishment of contesting parish fathers’ advocacy clubs, (fathers’ highest priority is the integrity of their family, so these meetings could be used for discussing: dangers of feminism/psycho-centric jurisdictions, bishops, priests, parishioners; divorce contingency planning; mutual support during divorce; detecting signs of feminism, divorce and child custody intentions; pre- and post-marital estate protection; pre- and post-divorce legal remedies; community support/education planning; divorce attorney interviews/referrals; family nutrition/food dangers studies; media/culture dangers; dangerous teen fads; holy masculinization of sons; holy feminization of daughters; etc.), under this new demonic adversarial antipatrichal paradigm? Are all of the Coptic churches in Egypt required to acquiesce to these same feminist demands? Isn’t the prevalence of uncovered women at current Egyptian Marian liturgical services on CTV a “secret” occult signal of Coptic feminist solidarity? What are the Coptic Egyptian feminists’ talking points and agendas for the use of CTV to advance feminist cohesion and power in the Coptic Church? Satan seems to be giving the EO and Coptic feminists the same “play book” that he had given earlier to their Catholic sisters. The hierarchs may not be in communion, but the heretical sisters are already like two (or three/four) peas in the pod. I’m sure the feminist leaders of the WCC are supporting and encouraging their rebellious apostate sisters by every dialectical means. Proudly feminist priests’ wives are their most honored prizes, for now.

In the Coptic Feminist/Divorce/Psycho Sweepstakes, California now leads with: most “outed” and “closet” Coptic feminists; most “outed” and “closet” feminist Coptic priest wives; most “closet” feminist Coptic Priests; most Coptic legal divorces; most corrupt Coptic ecclesiastical divorces; most divorced Coptic priests’ children; most Coptic suicides (?); most official Coptic psycho/socio marriage and family counsellors; most medico/psycho trained Coptic priests; most medico/psycho trained bishops (tie). But New Jersey is challenging, and leads in the Coptic feminist divorce provoked murder category. Come on, Texas/Florida! Demand a recount.

Like their Catholic feminist sisters, the EO feminists have found a prominent, progressive bishop, Kallistos Ware, to lead their offense. You can read an interview where Ware, all but, promises ordination to EO women-by not stating the prohibitions-at <http://directionstoorthodoxy.org/n/lambeth_interview_with_the_most_rev_kallistos_ware_archbishop_of.html> . See another vague EO clerical denial at <http://www.oca.org/QA.asp?ID=168&SID=3>. For the WCC’s Hegelian dialectal encouragement to continue to reach an ecumenical consensus on Orthodox women’s ordination, see <http://www.wcc-coe.org/wcc/assembly/pr-ord.html>. Where will all the Episcopalians and Presbyterians, who came to EO to flee their new women/homosexual priests and bishops, then go?

Is Anba Musa the Coptic feminists’ counter-part? His boasted feminist staff produce and censor all of his distributions of deceptive, anti-patriarchial/ psycho-babble perversions to Coptic youth, under his smiling image and signature. What is his “secret” position on women ordination? It has to tolerate the intransigent uncompromising feminism of his secure, trusted ghostwriting staff. What has he received in trade for his betrayal of God’s biblical patriarchy and the Coptic Marriage Liturgy? To confirm my deductions I just read (bored) through the 12-part series on "Youth and Family Life" that is posted in his name. I won’t mislead others by citing to this shameless feminist blasphemy. The series is full of heterodox psycho-babble, but not a hint of God’s prescribed patriarchal family and gender laws.

Or, perhaps a more sinister Coptic feminist betrayal of God’s patriarchal family laws is Bishop Boula’s recent “secret” grant of eccleastical divorce and permission for Coptic remarriage (to her LACopt deacon shack-mate ?) to a proudly serially adulterous Coptic-California-Texas woman/Texas parish pre-school teacher. Girls, what is the value of priesthood when you have secret, gender based, access to these sacramental privileges? I was puzzled a few years ago when I heard young, aggressive Coptic feminists coyly admiring Kallistos Ware. They were ahead of me and they may now be “obeying in resistence” in a Cairo monastery.

Maybe Bishop Angaelos will also help justify and ordain the first Coptic/Shenouda Church woman priest. He is the Coptic specialist in cunningly convincing (with partial biblical quotations and deceptive paraphrases) the female youth that the Shenouda Church is a feminist church. This belies the Coptic Marriage Liturgy and makes for great Coptic divorce statistics.

I spent about 10 years in various EO jurisdictions before I received Coptic Baptism. Strong inklings of these family weakening heterodoxies encouraged me to search beyond EO’s slanders of the Oriental Orthodox (OO) churches. Three relevant incidents share some personal experiences.

In about the late 1980’s, I attended a marriage and family conference at Annunciation Greek Orthodox (GO) Cathedral, Houston. At the introduction, the priest pastor introduced the conference presenters, a stage full of family lawyers and family counsellors. To evangelize any Catholics who attended, he stressed that an advantage of becoming Orthodox was the availability of divorce and remarriage. (Which the Catholics trumped with liberal annulments.) The pastor invited those with marriage problems to obtain advice from the lawyers and counsellors at their “booths”, which were set-up throughout the hall. I approached the pastor and objected that there was no spiritual counselling nor spiritual counsellors. He chuckled and said that if their priests tried to resolve their large numbers of divorces, they wouldn’t have time to do anything else. So, is it really righteous “scientific” wisdom that is prompting the medically trained Coptic heirarchy to devise this same failed mercenary solution to its demonic feminism based increasing Coptic divorce rate? Maybe we just need more lying Coptic lay/ priest lawyers. Have you seen any fresh “signs” of that cunning old serpent, lately?

In the early 1990’s I attended the priest pastor’s Lenten bible study on the Book of Revelation at St. Nicholas GO Church, Cincinnati. Several yuppy GO “business” women attended. They whined objections at every bible passage that offended their feminist sensitivities. (The Coptic feminists’ objections are much louder and more uncouth.) Rather than providing the patriarchal explanation to their complaints, after several weeks the pastor announced that he would reveal his beliefs on their issue at the next meeting. At this meeting, the pastor explained to all of us that he agreed with the women’s objections to the lack of complete equality with men in the church. He explained his belief, probably similar to Bishop Ware, that priestly gender was not an unchangeable dogmatic belief. He concluded with the argument that the only requirement for EO male priesthood is completion of academic seminary training. Many women complete this seminary training, some with higher grades than men. Therefore, these women should be ordained, if they desire.

The following Great Fast, I met the new priest pastor of Annunciation GO Cathedral, Houston. He had been assistant pastor at St. Nicholas, Cincinnati, just before I attended the bible study there. I questioned him on the women’s ordination theory that I had learned at St. Nicholas. He told me that he understood and agreed that women should be ordained for those reasons. When I asked, he told me that he had learned this theology at Holy Cross GO Seminary and that I would find that most graduates of Holy Cross agreed with this theology. You may be aware that at about this time a new GO Metropolitan for the U.S. was appointed. One of his first acts was to “clean house” at Holy Cross. A group of “influential” GO formed a coalition against the new Metropolitan and he was soon removed. His replacement reinstated the “old guard” at Holy Cross. So much for the patriarchal integrity of the “naked” GO Ecumenical Patriarch who is also the “titular” head of Kallistos Ware’s illusionary jurisdiction. How insightful could Holy Cross and influential GO bible study be? Their sponsors and graduates (and Patriarch?) don’t even have any traditional Orthodox understanding of the crux of the initial three chapters of the Holy Bible’s first Book, Genesis 1-3. Their misunderstanding of the gender order of God’s creation of mankind is limited to their biased misreading of its abbreviated general introduction in Genesis 1:26-28. This biased dissection could be the basis of the united Protestant, RC, EO and Coptic feminist’s intellectual emasculation of the dominant patriarchial paradigm of all of God’s Words in the entire Holy Bible. How can you have Orthodox unity with chaotic heterodox disunity? It is easy, let’s all embrace in pan-homo-everything and give Eve and her sisters a fairer judgment and more power by omitting Gen. 2 and 3, and their depressing derivatives, from our consensual “christian” psychological beliefs in the power of our mother goddesses: chaos, equality and happiness.

I didn’t easily accept the secretive inklings of Pope Shenouda’s attractions to feminism and scientism in regard to the patriarchal biblical family and gender codes. I could not find that he had ever written, or been translated, in English, concerning this biblical patriarchy. I learned that Bishop Gregorious had clearly written and lectured on the subject in Arabic, but had never been translated. I guess that these works have been censored, or banned, because they aren’t available in any American Coptic bookstore that I have visited. (Feminist house cleaning?). I’ve met several admirers of Bishop Gregorious, but none who have studied this issue. (I’m also interested in Bishop Gregorious’ studies of early Coptic-Irish relationships.) Good man, with new Irish insights for me!! Too many years of respectful parrying with Bishop Youssef and with various sincere and insincere Coptic priests; brief encounters with Bishops Serapion, Angaelos, Picenti and Raphael; and attendence at two relevant speeches by Pope Shenouda have enabled me to surmise that Pope Shenouda, like most modern “christian leaders,” does not accept and teach the general clearly patriarchal paradigm of the entire Holy Bible, and especially the principles of gender and family relationships and authority, that God has prescribed for his people and church, from the beginning. See, Gen. 2:18-23, 3:16b.

In 1989 I braved to attend Pope Shenouda’s Vespers meeting and Liturgy at St. Mark’s Coptic Church in Houston. I had attended EO inquiry classes, bible studies and services for 4-5 years, was in communion with the SCOBA jurisdictions and had received their liturgical and intellectual slanders of the “heretical, monophysite” Copts. I watched and listened very carefully. The main subject of most of the Pope’s teaching (in English) was the challenges to the family’s faith by western culture, my favorite subject. He generally criticized divorce (which he stereotyped feministically as always being caused by violent, greedy, lusting men, whom I also may criticize, if reasonably based on full factual investigation, in scriptural context, which is extremely rare in my experience) and concentrated on the importance of teaching the faith to the new generation. His points were very thorough, meaningful and practical. I noticed, however, that he seemed to speak over and past the men/fathers and directly to the women/mothers. I was uncomfortable with this, but presumed that he had deferred to the fathers’ authority in Arabic. Since that time, I have repeatedly sought a scriptural and theological clarification of this seeming heterodoxy. It has been puzzling that male and female, lay and clerical Coptic feminists seem satisfied, for now, to have prevented all vocal and written commentary on the clearly patriarchal biblical family and gender codes. I have attended several bible studies/conferences that were intended to discuss these specifically patriarchal bible verses. Every such bible study was quickly shut down and diverted to a neutral or feminist view by angry, insulting, shouting Coptic feminists, who would not allow the verses to be discussed in context.

My second, more direct, disappointment with Pope Shenouda’s espousal of these “modern” heterodoxies occurred in August, 2000, at the formal dinner, which I attended, in conjunction with the Pope’s consecration of St. Mina’s Coptic Church, Nashville, Tenn..

During his usual pre-meal question and answer session, to everyone in the the large, packed conference room, Pope Shenouda read the following question, in English:
“If a wife works and earns an income at her own job, does she have to obey her husband’s decisions on how this money is spent?”
The Pope proudly answered in his typically joking manner:
“It is her money, she earned it, and she can spend it as she wants.”
Then the Pope went on to other questions.

I suppose that this answer caused righteous anger in that particular family and in many other families where it is still being used to divide families by divisive Coptic feminists. Intrusion into biblical family order and authority and provocation of the sacramental family leader’s anger is very unpredictable and dangerous, even to innocent bystanders. (Notice how Jesus respected this very same principle-even concerning the apostate Samaritans-when He refused to teach the Samaritan woman without the presence of her, possibly 6th, husband.) John 4:15-18. Resultant righteous (?) indignation could even lead to violence, gunfire and even murder in Coptic Churches and homes. Could the blood of any such related tragedy be on Pope Shenouda’s hands? Should the feminist and psychologist loved caution of Ephesians 6:4 apply to Pope Shenouda in this situation?

The most puzzling theological contradiction to me concerns the most powerful and clear general scriptural definition of Apostolic Christian family and gender order, 1 Peter 2:18-3:14, which is repeatedly read, as the Catholic Epistle in many of our Sunday and weekday liturgies. We just read from these verses on Sunday, August 22, 2010, St. Mary’s Dormition Feast, 3rd Sunday of Mesori; on Thursday, Aug. 12, 6 Mesori, Martyrdom of St. Julietta; and on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 28 Epip, Feast of St. Mary Magdalene. But, I have never heard nor read these verses and principles explained and recommended to our challenged immigrant and divorcing Coptic families, the seeming precise target of St. Peter’s Apostolic counsel. I am also puzzled that all relevant reference to these repeated liturgical gender and family order and authority verses seems to have been completely omitted from Fr. Tadros Malaty’s extensive commentary on St. Peter’s First (and possibly only) Epistle which is specifically addressed to the first generation of persecuted Christian families. A final verse, 1Peter 5:13, indicates that St. Mark participated directly in this message, probably before (or concurrently with) the writing of his Gospel (under St. Peter’s guidance). It seems to me to be a disrespectful usurpation of the direct counsel of the highest founding authorities of both the originally united Universal Catholic Orthodox Church and the Coptic Orthodox Church to replace their specific Christian family and gender prescriptions with demonic unproven, contradictory feminism and atheism based “pseudoscientific” psychological innovations and substitutions.

After repeatedly seeking, and failing to receive, any reasoned orthodox explanation for this statement, it has become seemingly clear to me that Pope Shenouda’s disappointing, unexplained seemingly direct contradiction of the clear relevant provisions contained throughout the entire Holy Bible and in the Coptic Marriage Liturgy, is a clear demonstration of his unwritten, secretive feminism and atheistic psychology based heterodoxies and agenda throughout his reign. I’m reasonably certain that the heretical folly of this seemingly uncompromising papal innovation is the primary cause of the unprecedented epidemic of life long severe emotional and spiritual trauma to hundreds/thousands of young Coptic husbands, children, their relatives and friends caused by the unreasonable demands, negligences and legal divorces of their rebellious young Coptic wives/mothers, that were provoked and/or supported by the rebellious older women feminist agitators in their family and/or parish. Off hand I can recall eight such, Coptic wife caused, legal divorce tragedies in the Houston area, involving 17 young children (ages 1-18 years). This experience belies every clerical (including Pope Shenouda’s) repeated stereotypical preconception that all Coptic divorces are justified and caused by an unreasonably violent Coptic husband/father. I don’t know of any such husband violence case in the Houston area. I know of unreasonable wife’s physical violence against the husband in two of these cases.

I suspect that there may be, but I am not aware of any public demands for ordination to the Coptic priesthood by any mature, adult Coptic women. The Protestant, R. Catholic, and EO demands for ordination of women seem to have mostly originated and ripened among ambitious nuns and women graduate theology school students. I understand that; in addition to a record number of divorces, Pope Shenouda’s reign has produced a record number of these potential women ordination aspirents. Hopefully there have been sufficient prayers, patriarchal female supervision, investigations, observations, precautions and guidance to avoid the fulfillment of these secret heterodox ambitions and expectations.

It seems to me that the need for righteous womens’ ambitions to meet the traditional patriarchal biblical roles for holy older Coptic women (Titus 2:3-5) are in dire need. There probably are some, but I don’t know of any examples of or training for wise, older holy women who seek to righteously admonish the rebellious, divorcing younger women in the cases mentioned above. Loudly protesting Coptic feminists have seemingly prevented all study and discussion of these verses, since, at least, the time that I attended Pope Shenouda’s visit in 1989. The rapid rise in numbers of Coptic women (including priests’ wives) who are misdirected toward rebellious feminism and atheism based psychology/ sociology study and practice seems to indicate that they may be fertile ground for potential redirection to formation of Coptic women who are dedicated to resolutely studying, reestablishing, upholding and passing on the traditional biblical roles for young and older holy Coptic women.

The seeming epidemic of manifestations of rebellious feminism and its acceptance by Coptic women, men and clergy today seems to be the sad proof that the previous generation of Coptic women didn’t sufficiently believe in and scripturally instruct their daughters and sons, in their youth, with an understanding and acceptance of the overwhelming power and benefits of God’s ancient, original scriptural gender and family codes. St. Peter’s simple, ancient model for family order was successfully followed in all converted cultures throughout the world, for about 1900 years. This may be the most necessary “secret” weapon, even in all subsequently divided denominations (I personally know of its wonderous success in the impoverished, oppressed, ridiculed and “troubled” Irish immigrant families), to at least “micro-christianize” 33% of the world’s population. I would never knowingly expose my family or friends (male or female) to a heterodox feminism/psychology practicing church of any denomination. Where two or three are gathered in my name (not Freud’s), I am in their midst. Mt.18:20. St. Peter’s model was formulated, unmercenary, divorce intolerant and effective for about 1850 years before Athiest Sigmund Freud’s cocaine inspired imaginations and experiments devised and institutionalized the bizarre mercenary “pseudoscience” of psychology - the “pseudomedical” quackery of the study of the (non-existent) soul. Freud’s weird, unmarried daughter, Anna, “specialized” in family and child psychology (for the ultra wealthy). Her early results were expectedly tragic. Two wealthy “clients”, a boy and his sister, who lived in her care from childhood, died in young adulthood. The boy from alcoholism, the girl from suicide (in Freud’s house). Do yourself, family and friends a great favor. Watch all four episodes of the award winning BBC documentary of the history of the “pseudoscience” of psychology, from Freud to Bill Clinton/Tony Blair. I have the best success finding the link with a google search of: <bbc the century of the self video parts 1-4>. Is this the “pseudoscience” that you choose to have provided as an undocumented, ever changing experimental model for the development of your family’s spiritual integrity? For a gory insight into Freud’s early wonder-working use (and self-use) of medicinal cocaine, see <http://www.historyhouse.com/in_history/cocaine/>. Does your psycho-socio parish have a documented manual of the philosophy, history, methods, range of use, specific each use notice and informed/parental consent, expected results and adverse/faith weakening side effects of its psycho/socio counselling program, that is being used to replace or supplement the gender and family codes of the Holy Bible? As the documentary video shows, psycho/socio “therapy” has weird methods and “WEIRDER” results. I believe that it also shows that Marilyn Monroe committed suicide in her psychiatrist’s office complex. Didn’t Marilyn have everything, including a renowned private therapist, that psycho-feminism’s illusions promise to your daughter?

Mercenary psychiatry/psychology is also rationally deficient from many divergent points of view. Its moral and scientific foundations have been criticized for many years by Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Thomas S. Szasz, M.D.. An introduction to Dr. Szasz’ arguments and manifesto can be accessed at <http://www.szasz.com/manifesto.html>. A few sincere Christians have become aware and alarmed at the invasion of the christian education and counselling fields by the atheistic psychology/ sociology industry. The most dedicated and competent critics seem to be Martin and Deidre Bobgan. Their free research and study materials are available at their website <http://www.psychoheresy-aware.org/mainpage.html>. Protestant evangelicals, Dave Hunt and Tom McMahon have produced a number of books, articles and audio and video programs that question all aspects of atheism based “christian” psychology. Their website is <www.thebereancall.org/>.

I think it is a faith condemning disgrace that apparently not a single medical or science trained and indoctrinated Coptic heirarch, priest, monastic, theologian or servant has publically challenged the epidemic growth of the influence of demonic experimental psychological deceptions in the Coptic Church. Most open and honest seasoned physicians that I have questioned, scoff at the mention of psychiatry. They have told me: “The least qualified in most med. school classes go into psych. because they can’t qualify for other specialities.” “Most psychiatrists need a psychiatrist.” “Psychiatrists have the highest rates of drug abuse and suicide in the medical profession.” Do all recommended Coptic psycho-healers undergo mandatory regular broad scope drug testing?

Please, anyone {Pope Shenouda (?), Metropolitan Kallistos Ware (?), Dr. Nelly van Doorn-Harder, Ph.D. (?)} show us the best example, in history, of a feminism/psychology principled community which you vouch to be squarely on the narrow, difficult way that you are confident will lead to the Holy Bible’s promised eternal Paradise.

Parenthetically, the spirit of Coptic feminism may be deceptively seeking acceptance through Coptic Hymns.net. The relatively innocuous introductory article, praising Pope Kyrillos’ humble reintroduction of Coptic women religious, by the international protestant (?)/muslim (?) feminist theologian, Dr. Nelly van Doorn-Harder, Ph.D., fails to introduce us to her rabid feminist background and credentials. A more representative example of her cunning feminist theology (thealogy?), philosophy, tactics, objectives and dangers to the future of biblical Coptic Christianity can be perceived in her article entitled: IMAGINED ANTIQUITY: COPTIC NUNS LIVING BETWEEN PAST IDEALS AND PRESENT REALITIES. <egypt.umn.edu/1-pb%20pdfs/vandoornh.pdf>. Nelly seems to be the credentialed western “public mouth piece” for some “secret” sect or sects of rebellious Coptic feminists/ nuns. Who hatefully spent the hours of intricate explanation of Coptic traditions with Nelly, so that she could write these seemingly authenticated articles? It must have been English speaking rabidly feminist nuns/novices. Or, does Nelly front for secreting Coptic Church hating feminist “ghost” writers? Or both? Or, is Nelly the voluntary (or mercenary) generalette now in command of the Coptic feminist revolution? Her article demands “more” power and reveals that the present phase of the Coptic feminist rebellion is based on their dishonest, demonic strategy to deceptively “obey in resistance.” What is the planned/optional next phase? Satan couldn’t be prouder of the renewed “faith” of his new orthodox Coptic daughters. To see, Bishop Serapion (mastermind of the So. California Coptic feminism/ divorce/ psychoheresy capitol of the world) going out to obtain a silk cassock photo opportunity with Nelly, look at <http://marthaymaria.blogspot.com/2009/03/coptic-christians-mother-irini.html>.

This seems to be the occasion when the Irish descendents of our original christian forefathers can mysteriously repay your Coptic missionary ancesters who originally (about 1500 years ago) catechized St. Patrick (?) and the Irish people in the spirit of Coptic monastic Christianity - which barely survives, in occasional spiritual remnants, today. As I referred to above, a rare remnant of this uncompromising Irish/Coptic faith spirit is made available to you in this time of need to overcome demonic feminism by Donna (Corcoran-Merrigan) Steichen’s UNGODLY RAGE-THE HIDDEN FACE OF CATHOLIC FEMINISM. Get a copy, prayerfully study it, in your closet. Read it, in church, after removing the frothing mad dog feminists, to your priest, bishop, Pope Shenouda and your beloved Coptic brothers and sisters in the pews. The demons are the same, they are just using different names and masks.

Thank God for the examples of the patriarchal faith of all the Holy Patriarch Martyrs of all the patriarchal Apostolic Orthodox Churches (including Rome, before it apostacized).

Thank God for the example of the patriarchal faith of our own Pope St. Athanasius who personally suffered repeated harsh intimidations, humiliations and depositions from his patriarchal chair rather than make any compromise of the somewhat unclear, patriarchal, seemingly harsh, Satan and World hated Divinity of Jesus Christ; with the softer, pacifying, modern, rational, faction pleasing, consensus seeking, ecumenical, heretical options that Arius and his powerful progressive imperial, priest, bishop and patriarch followers found to be widely attractive to lax Orthodox congregations.

Pope St. Athanasius is the grand champion unmartyred hero of the Coptic Orthodox Church. A sketch of his patriarchal heroic struggle and victory for our patriarchal orthodox faith is available at Section V. The Heros of Faith. <http://www.saint-mary.net/coptic_faith/>. This page, without specifically stating, appears to represent that the historic Coptic Church is a patriarchal Apostolic Church. It probably was until the reign of Pope Shenouda, whose secretive innovations, selective staffing and intolerant (patriarchal?) cleric discipline have converted its patriarchal family support philosophy and practice into a farcical experimental demonic feminist/mercenary psycho-medico divorce mill against naive, defenseless young Coptic fathers and their young children. This philosophy, with the Shenouda/feminist forced termination of teaching of the traditional patriarchal biblical family and gender codes, invited a drastic increase in the expansion of the new Coptic feminist/divorce rebellion.

This same website contains examples of the innovative heterodox feminist Shenouda Church institutions. The English speaking family page still contains the announcement of the $275.00/couple “spiritual” retreat led by a visiting young, dynamic anti-patriarchal feminist, psycho/socio priest and a travelling mercenary anti-patriarchal feminist, father-hating, child hating, family destroying psycho-medico Coptic counsellor <http://www.saint-mary.net/familyfootprints/sretreat/signup.asp>. This is the typical feminist Shenouda Church family spirituality teaching paradigm.

A more sinister, but innocuous appearing, Arabic page is for the weekly feminist “spiritual” Ladies Society Meeting (that is now mandated in every U.S. Shenouda Church parish) <http://www.saint-mary.net/ladiesmeeting/>. Notice the modern International feminist artwork overpowering the vestiges of an implied occult cross on this page. Ladies Societies in the feminist U.S. Shenouda Churches are the Coptic counterpart of feminist Women’s Centers throughout the U.S.. They are centers for encouragement, planning and supporting young women to divorce their families and cut-off and alienate the young children from establishing a supportive relationship with their father. This particular Coptic Ladies Society seems to have established the precedent of direct involvement in provoking a Coptic feminist caused divorce related murder, in a Coptic meeting. Of course, no Shenouda Church has established a counter-balancing patriarchal Father’s/Men’s Divorce Defense and Family Security/Integrity Society. Sincerely supported biblical patriarchal family integrity efforts generally prevented divorce and conflict in Coptic, EO and other Christian families until the recent demonic feminist revolutions and innovations. The only adverse consequence of their reestablishment is the death, by disuse, of the ineffective divorce/conflict causing atheism based mercenary Coptic psycho/socio/medico counselling industry.

Thank God for the more recent example of the same patriarchal EO faith of St. Mark of Ephesis who likewise stood alone, for our Patriarchal Holy Orthodox Faith and personally suffered similar persecutions from similarly situated civil and ecclesiastical officials for his patriarchal refusal to make any compromised union with the, even then, innovation and heresy laden R. Catholic Church. See a sketch of St. Mark’s patriarchal orthodox integrity at <http://www.roca.org/OA/26/26f.htm>. In contrast to the cited Coptic website, notice above, the published EO feminists’ rage at the ROCOR Synod, the sponsor of this webpage.

How can any of the complicit heterodox Synod members of any of these apostate apostolic churches any longer honestly claim to be from the Patriarchal Orthodox Church of the Martyrs, of Pope St. Athanasius and/or of St. Mark of Ephesis? Instead, are they only whimpering feminist phonies, hereditary cup bearers for Jezebel’s daughters and lackeys for athiest Freud’s weird mercenary decendants? Do they speak/write truth when they call themselves Christian? They each publically mock God and Jesus Christ by repudiating Their crucial gender and family Commandments. If you love Me, keep My commandments. See Jn14:6-31.

My alienated divorced family and I know too well, the persistence, power and deceptions of the demons which direct, conduct and justify the abominable sins of apostate “Christian” feminism, divorce, atheism based family counselling and the promise of women priesthood.

Looks like the demons have used your bad experience to deceive you into thinking of nonsense.

Maybe you should start your own Coptic Amish society.

You've pretty much managed to judge like 99% of the Christian world in that one post. Way to go Smile

Truth.Seeker,

1. Sounds Freudian. Look at the BBC documentary that is referenced to see if Freud’s paradigm is appropriate for analysis of God’s Word. Does Freud define scriptural demons and their realm?
2. The devil and his demons never rest, nor discriminate. See, 1Peter 5:8; John 14:30.
3. Do you consider the patriarchal Biblical gender and family codes to be nonsense? 1 Peter 2:18-3:14? Genesis 2:18-23? Genesis 3:16b? Titus 2:3-5? John 4:15-18? Ephesians 6:4? Many, including feminism and “christian” psychology, agree with you.
4. I have tried to document my points. Which definition of nonsense do you use? Which specific issues do you consider to be in this category? I’ll try to clarify these as much as I can, or possibly withdraw them.

mikokiko,

1. I don’t have a Coptic dictionary. I don’t understand your introductory sentence.
2. Some sects of Amish are ridiculed for, and are well known, to believe, respect and practice God’s patriarchal gender and family laws. These are very similar to the traditional Coptic beliefs and practices that are the basis of the Coptic Marriage Liturgy and that I was told of during my inquiries into the Coptic Church. I know several unwillingly divorced young Coptic husbands, and their children, who were deceived into a traumatic marriage, and life, by this expectation of support, by their Coptic heirarchy and clergy, for this traditional model of marriage order, (that was administered and vowed in their Sacramental Coptic Marriage ceremony).
3. I have criticized, what appears to me to be, the vast majority of the feminist and psycho/socio oriented, self-proclaimed Western (and Western want to be) christian hypocrites. When you show me that my specific points are invalid, I want to correct or withdraw them.
4. For me, too, there is a very fine line, far beyond my discernment/wisdom, between judgment, admonishment, criticism, inquiry, etc.. Only God makes the final judgment of everyone. I believe that Jesus gave His disciples (and all of us) an important patriarchal basis of God’s judgment - obedience - in John 14:6-31.
5. I understand that the reality of the points that I have presented are shocking beyond belief to most (especially the more idealistic and younger) Orthodox believers. I expect that the informed protestants and catholics only yawn and nod in compassionate understanding or in polemical satisfaction.
