+Iryny nem `hmot,

I don't believe the Ethiopians have the Ark either way. It says in Revelations:

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail... (Revelations 11:19)

It appears that Saint John the Evangelist saw the Ark in heaven, so I don't believe that it is also here on earth.

I know it's a contentious issue, but I'm not confident that this most holy of objects be left to us here on earth. Even His mother, the New Ark, was taken up to heaven.

Pray for me.

Agape,

I agree with Fortunatus (good to have u back here!).

The temple and the Ark, as well as the Law of the Covenant and all Old Testament objects and prophecies were fulfilled in the New Testament. There's no reason for the temple and the Ark to exist anymore, when the Holy of Holies and the Word of God himself is on the altar table for us, and we partake of Him in communion.
